Cathay Pacific and Mandarin Airlines see fierce competition for flight attendant positions, with acceptance rates below 2%

China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines held initial flight attendant recruitment interviews today in Taoyuan and Taipei, respectively, offering 50 and 20 positions. However, over 5,000 people applied, resulting in acceptance rates of less than 2%.

China Airlines mainly recruited flight attendants for international routes departing from Kaohsiung, with only 50 positions available, attracting about 4,000 applicants, resulting in an acceptance rate of approximately 1.2%. Mandarin Airlines, based in Taichung, previously held initial and final interviews in Taichung but found that most applicants traveled from northern Taiwan. This year, they moved the initial interview to Taipei. Mandarin Airlines offered 20 positions, with 1,512 applicants, resulting in an acceptance rate of about 1.3%. (Source: Central News Agency)
