Crystal Banquet Hall Has Welcomed 30,000 Couples in 10 Years; Top 5 Wedding Songs Revealed

Crystal Banquet Hall, under Shanghai Countryside Catering, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, it has launched the “Darling, Let’s Celebrate!” series of events, inviting couples who have previously held their weddings at Crystal to return and celebrate their anniversaries. Attendees can also receive dining vouchers worth thousands of yuan from Shanghai Catering, champagne, and other gifts. Crystal Banquet Hall has also generously revealed the top five most popular Chinese and English wedding songs among newlyweds.

According to statistics from Crystal Banquet Hall, the most popular songs among couples are as follows. The most favored theme for costume changes is the prince and princess series from fairy tales.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Crystal Banquet specially invited the first couple to hold their wedding banquet there 10 years ago to attend the press conference. The husband shyly shared that he was originally a seafood supplier for Crystal Banquet Hall, which is why he chose to hold his wedding there. Now, 10 years later, the couple’s relationship remains stable, and they have two sons.

General Manager of Crystal Banquet HallHu Yujiestated that in the 10 years since Crystal Banquet Hall began operations, it has served over 30,000 couples—that is, one out of every 12 couples in the Greater Taipei area has held their banquet there, and one out of every 25 people in Taiwan has attended a wedding banquet at Crystal. Over the past decade, Hu Yujie has hosted banquets for couples with 100 tables but who did not accept gifts, as well as lesbian weddings. Each love story has left a deep impression on her. Therefore, in addition to inviting previous couples to celebrate together, this event also includes a Kiss & Hug activity for new couples, along with various promotions such as welcome gifts and booking gifts.

Hu Yujie also revealed that the age distribution of couples getting married now shows an M-shaped trend, with most being either younger or older, and the proportion of age-gap relationships, including bridesgetting pregnant before marriage, has even reached 50%.Moreover, compared to the past average of around 30 tables, the current average is about 23–24 tables, but couples now place greater emphasis on themes, costumes, music, and other elements.

Tao Wei ? also stated modestly that Crystal Banquet Hall currently has 8 branches across Taiwan, with the 9th branch set to open in Taoyuan in November this year. Over the next five years, the group plans to invest 1 billion yuan, opening one branch per year to continue expanding into central and southern markets. It also plans to list on the Emerging Stocks Market in November, file for listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange’s Emerging Market tier in Q3 2015, and could be listed as early as the end of next year.
