Japanese beef N<三大连锁品牌之一的すき家(SUKIYA)，向来标榜提供24小时服务，却因为长期人手不足的问题，继陆续关闭多家分店后，终于宣布从10月1日起旗下约1100多家分店将取消24小时营业制。
According to comprehensive reports from Japanese media, Sukiya operates 1,981 branches in Japan, with approximately 1,843 currently offering 24-hour service. However, due to the staff shortage, there have often been instances where just one employee is responsible for the entire store during late-night hours. The overwhelming workload has also led to fewer applicants for late-night shifts.
To address this issue, Sukiya recently announced the cancellation of 24-hour service. Starting in October, 1,167 of its branches will cease operating between midnight and 5 a.m. Additionally, due to staffing issues, some stores will adjust their hours to between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., with only a small number of outlets in suburban areas maintaining 24-hour operations.
