National Day Holiday Special: Half-Price Tickets at Shoushan Zoo

Where to go during the National Day holiday? Kaohsiung’s Shoushan Zoo is offering a special ticket discount this Double Ten Day, with all ticket types half-price on the day of the event (i.e., NT$20 for full-price tickets, NT$10 for half-price tickets). In addition, from October 10th to 12th during the three-day National Day holiday, visitors can also enjoy half-price admission by presenting an electronic coupon issued at the 2014 “Hey Song Rock Festival” at Qijin Black Sand Rock Festival.

The Kaohsiung City Government Tourism Bureau noted that Shoushan Zoo is the only zoo in Taiwan featuring a water-friendly plaza. It is conveniently located near Love River, Pier-2 Art Center, Sizihwan, National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine, and Yancheng Old Street. Visitors can take advantage of the Double Ten National Day holiday to explore Yancheng in depth. In addition, the Shoushan Zoo “Senior Animal King” voting campaign is in full swing, featuring veteran animals who have accompanied children and adults for decades. The public is encouraged to vote online for their favorite senior animal and may even win prizes. Voting ends on October 12th.
