After finishing a 2-day-1-night [Taicheng Aesthetic Culture Mini Trip], I was originally headed straight to the high-speed rail station, but I made a special stop at my classmate’s family-run old shop in Chiayi, [Qingf Xiao Guan], which was passed down from his father. The shop mainly serves noodles, stir-fries, and hot pot dishes. It has been around for decades and is an extremely popular local eatery.

After taking over the shop, my classmate has put even more heart into innovating and managing it. The shop even won the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan Fried Rice Championship, making it a top-quality eatery with great dedication.

Every time I see my classmate post photos on Facebook, it makes my mouth water. I’ve always wanted to come to Chiayi to try it, and this time I finally got the chance. As soon as I walked in, the place was packed with customers, and my classmate was constantly busy stir-frying over high heat—the business is really booming here.

I was alone, but my classmate, wanting to satisfy my cravings, stir-fried a little bit of everything for me to try. I was really full, but everything was so delicious—no wonder the place is so popular.
