Visa exemption promotion nearing end — Booking sites offer up to 65% off Thailand stays

From August to November 8, Thailand is offering Taiwanese travelers a visa exemption fee waiver, including exemption on visa-on-arrival fees, aiming to attract more visitors. With just one month left before the visa fee waiver ends, and the rainy season in Thailand drawing to a close in late October, the most pleasant and comfortable travel season is about to begin. International booking websites are now launching limited-time special offers for Thailand. From now until October 21, book accommodations for stays before June 15, 2015, and enjoy discounts of up to 65% off.

Popular destinations among Taiwanese such as Bangkok, holiday hotspots like Pattaya, Krabi, and Hua Hin, as well as the ecologically rich Khao Yai National Park are all included in the promotion. Of course, the currently trendy laid-back destination — Chiang Mai — is also part of the deal. Moreover, the limited-time offer covers numerous beautiful Thai islands, including the easily accessible Phuket and Koh Samui with their own airports, as well as the more adventure-requiring but absolutely worthwhile Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, and Koh Lipe. If you prefer to avoid the crowds, visit Koh Chang near the Thai-Cambodian border for a tranquil island getaway.
