There are many “clothing-optional resorts” around the world. In these resorts, sunscreen might be more important than pants. HuffPost reported on several such resorts that are truly eye-opening.

1. Jamaica’s Couples Tower Isle
In the Couples Tower Isle resort, most people actually wear clothes — unless they head to the nearby island, Tower Isle. Before setting off to the island, you must bring sunscreen with an SPF of 45 or higher, because apart from hiding in the boat cabin, there's nowhere to escape the intense sunlight.

2. Mexico’s Desire Pearl Riviera Maya
This resort on Mexico’s coast does not allow guests to book rooms alone — it only offers accommodations for “couples.” In addition to perfect white sand beaches, there are also themed activities like “Nights of Desire,” which help strengthen bonds between special friends. They also offer pole dancing classes.

3. Mexico’s Hidden Beach Resort
This resort, named “The Hidden Beach,” is truly hidden within a mangrove forest and places a high priority on guest privacy. “Clothes” are strictly prohibited here, and hygiene services are never interrupted — towels are always provided. In addition, it offers fantastic water activities.

4. Dominican Republic’s Caliente Caribe
From December to April each year, humpback whales from the North Atlantic come to the shores near this resort in the Dominican Republic to breed. Therefore, guests can go completely naked to observe these large marine mammals.
