Make friends at sea: Princess Cruises launches free instant messaging app

Princess Cruises has announced the launch of its free Princess@Sea Messenger instant messaging app. Passengers will soon have the opportunity to use this app to communicate in real time with fellow travelers aboard the ship.
The Princess@Sea app allows passengers to access cruise information and exchange messages with other travelers on board.
The Princess@Sea app will be officially launched on Royal Princess in November. Travelers can download the app for free via their smartphones or tablets and use the built-in Princess@Sea Messenger to chat with fellow passengers. By the end of 2015, all ships in the Princess Cruises fleet will offer this free messaging service.
According to Princess Cruises, the Princess@Sea mobile app not only allows passengers to check daily onboard activities, preview cruise itineraries and port guides, and browse restaurant menus, but also view cabin charges.
