Macau produces microfilm for Taiwanese travelers, starring Weng Ziman and Zhang Ruijia, kicking off with food

The Macao Government Tourism Office invited actress Weng Ziman and actor Zhang Ruijia to star in the microfilm "Meet the Wonderful You – Macau," jointly promoting tourism in Macau. The "Meet the Wonderful You – Macau" microfilm series is divided into six segments: "Food Edition," "Street Edition," "Wedding Edition," "Bicycle Edition," "Tea House Edition," and "Encounter Edition," which will be released one after another starting today.

The first video is the "Food Edition." The Macao Tourism Office stated that for Taiwanese travelers, food is the exclamation mark of the journey. Macau’s unique history and culture offer a rich variety of culinary choices. A must-try in Macau is Macanese cuisine, which was included in Macau’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2012. It incorporates spices from Africa, India, and Malaysia, and is cooked using traditional Portuguese ingredients and methods as well as those unique to the East.

The Macao Tourism Office has also launched the "Macau Treasure Hunt Challenge" campaign, allowing netizens to have a chance to win round-trip tickets from Taipei to Macau, a 20T suitcase, 7-11 gift vouchers, and an 8GB Android USB drive, among other prizes, while watching the microfilm.
