The store’s exterior boasts an artistic, asymmetrical design of pure white geometric triangles in a minimalist style. Inside, bronze-toned, three-dimensional artistic hanging panels create unique intersecting lines, evoking the feeling of sipping coffee in an art gallery. The space exudes modernity and elegance, making it a popular Facebook check-in spot. Starbucks Coffee Taichung is located on Zhèngzhì Road in Xitun District, Taichung. Driving along this road, you’ll be struck by the eye-catching, irregular white triangular building. Is this really a Starbucks? Echoing the modern design of the National Taichung Theater, the store’s shape is deliberately crafted with a minimalist, all-white triangular geometry. The exterior features intentionally irregular mirrored surfaces, and when sunlight enters, the white stone-painted finish helps the building blend seamlessly with its surroundings.

Nowadays, Starbucks isn’t just about selling coffee—it’s positioned as a brand that sells architectural ambiance. This attracts coffee lovers, architecture enthusiasts, and designers to these iconic IG-worthy spots. By incorporating local Taichung elements, it has become one of the city’s popular attractions.

The interior has plenty of seating, and the sunlight filtering in adds warmth. The shifting light and shadows give every corner rich layers, enhancing the beauty of the architectural space.

The ordering area is located at the back, away from direct sunlight, preserving the display of coffee products. The walls feature rows of coffee brands and large graffiti-style illustrations.

The spacious interior is divided by tall shelving, separating the rear and front sections.

The ceiling’s geometric design and shimmering artistic light fixtures are truly distinctive.

From different angles, you can feel the atmosphere the store cultivates. People come to Starbucks not just for coffee—it’s become a workspace, a place to meet clients, or a spot for friends to gather.
