The Macao Shopping Festival kicks off on December 3 – inbound travelers can win big prizes

The Macao Shopping Festival will be held from December 3 to 31, buzzing with activity. This year’s slogan is “I Buy. Macau.”During the festival, inbound travelers can participate in a free draw once simply by presenting a valid ferry ticket, flight ticket, or entry document, with prizes totaling over four million MOP (approximately NT$16 million).

The Macao Tourism Board reminds visitors that draw booths will be set up at four major entry points: the Gongbei Border Gate checkpoint building, the Macao Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, the Taipa Temporary Ferry Terminal in Cotai, and Macao International Airport. Don’t miss this great chance to enter the draw upon arrival in Macao during this period. Prizes include tickets to the “House of Dancing Water” show at Studio City, dining packages, New Yaohan shopping mall vouchers, Macao Tower adrenaline experiences, Macao Fisherman’s Wharf shopping mall experiences, and more.

In addition, over 1,000 shops of all sizes across the city will join the shopping festival, offering a variety of shopping discounts and promotions to fuel a citywide shopping spree. Travelers can explore different stores and enjoy the thrill of shopping, or wander through Macao’s characteristic streets, small shops, and markets, sampling local delicacies and discovering unique shopping experiences and new entertainment spots in each district. They can also download the “Macao Shopping Festival” app to keep up with the latest offers. The four airlines flying to Macao — Air Macau, EVA Air, TransAsia Airways, and UNI Air — have launched special travel packages, which can be inquired about through the airlines or major travel agencies.
