In Chiang Mai, Thailand, there’s a tiger park called Tiger Kingdom where visitors can get up close with tigers. A female PTT user named mrsmiller visited the park and accidentally stepped on a tiger’s tail while taking a photo with it. She said:“That was the first time I saw my life flash before my eyes!”mrsmiller also shared this unique memory on PTT. Her vivid and amusing post, paired with photos of her and the fierce tiger, quickly went viral.

In her post titled “But Taiwan, I Almost Didn’t Make It Back!” mrsmiller wrote that since she had never faced such a fierce animal head-on, she was still quite nervous when the staff guided her to pose for photos with the tiger. But later, she gradually gathered courage and even lay on the tiger to pet it.

After taking many photos, she carefully got up, afraid that any sudden movement might upset the tiger.But as she stood up, she ended up stepping on the tiger’s tail.Then, the tiger turned to look at her.

Just as the tiger turned its head, she noticed the staff member’s eyes wide open. mrsmiller noted that it was the first time she saw her life flash before her eyes. Fortunately, the tiger only glanced back and then returned to its indifferent state — allowing her to live and write about the experience.

After reading about mrsmiller’s close call, netizens left comments like “Welcome back,” “That’s scary,” and even “Maybe one step isn’t enough to anger it — try a few more.”

My awesome friend is currently in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Compared to Bangkok, where even pedestrians try to scam you,
the ancient city of Chiang Mai is really a comfortable and down-to-earth nice place.

There’s a special tiger park in Chiang Mai called Tiger Kingdom.
Once you buy a ticket, you get 15 minutes to take photos with tigers.

Not through a cage or anything like that.
But up close, super close,
you can actually hug the tigers and take photos with them!!

My friend chose the adult tiger area,
read the safety instructions, signed what felt like a waiver (??), and steeled herself before going in.

Since she had never faced such a fierce animal head-on,
