15,000 travel vouchers to be given out; Penghu launches “True Love Sustainable Mug” as follow-up

Penghu launched the “Give 5 FUN Easy” travel voucher on October 1st, and as the 15,000 vouchers are nearly exhausted, the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration has created the “True Love Sustainable Mug” to take over. The mug will be distributed in the same way as the travel vouchers, with one mug available per person.

To boost the recovery of Penghu’s tourism market, the Penghu County Government introduced nine promotional packages for the autumn and winter seasons. Among them, the “Give 5 FUN Easy” 500 NTD travel vouchers, designed to encourage travel around Penghu, were distributed earlier than expected and ran out in October. To maintain the momentum, the “True Love Sustainable Mug” will be offered as a follow-up until December 31st, with a limited run of 3,000 mugs available until they run out. Other activities such as “Ride into Formosa – The Pioneer Riders’ Group,” “Seamless Shuttle Sightseeing Bus,” and “Stone with Meaning – Stone Guardians” will also be launched successively. As winter approaches, the goal is to attract niche travelers to visit Penghu during the off-season.

The lightweight mug features the Double-Heart Stone Weir pattern and ribbon-like extensions on both sides, symbolizing blessings and care, and embodying the spirit of true love that endures. When visitors to the world’s most beautiful bay pick up the mug with its “double-heart”-shaped half-handle, memories of a journey filled with love and blessings will surface and stay in their hearts forever.
