Taiwan Railways’ 2015 Scenic Railway Calendar is Now Available – Limited First Release at the Travel Fair

Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) is participating in the 2014 Taipei International Travel Fair (ITF) for the first time, launching its limited-edition “2015 Slow Travel Memories” calendar with only 1,200 copies available for the initial sale. The calendar is offered at an exclusive 37% discount (63% of the original price) as a special treat for fans of TRA merchandise. To further promote the charm of slow travel by rail, TRA is also giving away extra gifts: purchase two “2015 Slow Travel Memories” calendars before November 30 and receive a free set of “2015 Slow Travel Memories” postcards (12 pieces).

TRA stated that to promote the concept of slow travel by rail, it has specially producedthe “2015 Slow Travel Memories Calendar,”featuring the beautiful scenery along the main and branch railway lines, showcasing various trains in motion. Buyers of the calendar will also receive a complimentary Taiwan Railway Map, which includes station routes, transportation transfers, sightseeing, dining, and cultural information – a “giveaway-only” secret guide for island-wide travel.
