China Airlines’ Family Cabin for Kids Opens in December: Draw Taipei–LA Round-Trip Tickets by Painting

China Airlines’ new 777-300ER Family Cabin will begin service in December, along with the launch of the “Kids’ Flight Storybook Experience Game.” Just draw family characters on the special paper provided, then use a mobile phone or tablet to bring them to life digitally—once the task is completed, you can enter to win flight tickets and even experience the new 777-300ER aircraft firsthand. From now until December 31, 2014, those who complete the China Airlines “Kids’ Flight Storybook Experience Game” and share it on their personal Facebook page will not only get to enjoy the fun of simulated flying but also have a chance to win two round-trip economy class tickets from Taipei to LA, or discount vouchers for luxurious business class, premium economy class, and 77% off economy class tickets. There are also limited spots in the popular Little Flight Attendant Experience Camp, Wi-Fi experience vouchers, and more. Those who successfully join the China Airlines frequent flyer program through this event will also receive 777 bonus miles for free. The list of winners will be announced at 15:00 on January 9, 2015.

China Airlines’ 777-300ER aircraft features Asia’s first “Family Couch,” located in row 10 on the right side of the economy cabin’s front section. Each row has three seats equipped with specially designed leg rests that, when extended, create a private space by connecting with the backrest of the seat in front, turning the seats into a sofa bed. This makes long-haul flights more comfortable for families and couples. The Family Cabin is mainly available on transoceanic routes. Starting December 1, the 777-300ER serving the Los Angeles route will offer the Family Cabin for the first time.
