Kaohsiung Gratitude & Blessing Concert – Singers Unite on Dec. 13 to Cheer for Renewal

To thank everyone for their assistance following the July 31 gas explosions in Kaohsiung, the Kaohsiung City Government will hold the “True Love Kaohsiung, Sailing Towards Happiness” Gratitude & Blessing Concert at 7 PM on December 13 on the Era Boulevard. The concert will feature performances by Rainie Yang, Jia Jia, and other artists, who will use their voices and melodies to soothe the pain and cheer for the city’s renewal.

Three months have passed since the Kaohsiung July 31 gas explosions. Initial reconstruction work has now been completed, and the affected roads—Sanduo, Ketagalan, and Yixin—reopened at midnight on the 20th. The Dec. 13 gratitude and blessing concert will feature performances by Rainie Yang, Jia Jia, Lulu Hsueh, Lee Kuo-wei, Chen Chien-wei, Lo Mei-ling, Cai Cheng-rong, SPEXIAL, the Liouguei High School Choir, the Kaohsiung Municipal Symphony Orchestra, and local bands, all coming together to encourage and uplift Kaohsiung. The event will also be live-streamed on MTV, YouTube, and MOD’s SETTV Variety Channel.

In addition, in conjunction with the Gratitude & Blessing Concert, the Kaohsiung City Government’s LINE platform will launch a ONE AIR lucky draw. By saying the secret phrase during the event period, participants can win prizes such as Brown & Friends plush toys, Kaohsiung MRT transportation cards, and more.
