Old P and Po make an appearance at the Taichung Flower Carpet Festival – surprise appearances at unexpected times!

Since its opening, the Taichung International Flower Carpet Festival and Xinshe Flower Sea have attracted over one million visitors. The Taichung Tourism Bureau stated that this Saturday (22nd) and next Sunday (30th), the popular cartoon characters “Old P” and “Po” will make surprise appearances within the Xinshe Flower Sea. “Old P” and “Po” will be wandering around the park at unscheduled times on both Saturday (22nd) and next Sunday (30th). Fans of Old P and Po are encouraged to seize the opportunity to take photos with them.

This year’s Flower Carpet Festival features extensive plantings of seasonal begonias, cosmos, and celosia, all of which are highly sought-after photo backdrops. In addition to drawing large numbers of tourists, many schools and government agencies have chosen to hold outdoor classes and observation tours at the Xinshe Flower Sea Festival. There have even been on-the-spot marriage proposals that succeeded, making Xinshe Flower Sea a town of happiness.
