After static testing, Kaohsiung’s light rail underwent dynamic testing on the 22nd. The Facebook page “Kaohsiung Incredible” also shared time-lapse footage of the dynamic test, showing the light rail train slowly moving along while many construction workers were busy at work along the route.

According to a report released by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Bureau on the 19th, the Kaohsiung light rail train, which had completed static testing and was parked at C2 Station, successfully underwent a 750-volt power supply test to the station on the 18th, with the process going very smoothly. On the 22nd, the official Kaohsiung Facebook page “Kaohsiung Incredible” posted a time-lapse video of the light rail’s dynamic testing. On that day, the main focus was on testing the pantograph charging (approximately 20 seconds) when the train was at the station, and preliminary tests reportedly went normally.
