Operating a cruise is a true test of creativity and ingenuity for cruise lines, especially when it comes to keeping passengers entertained around the clock. The Royal Princess, the 18th new ship in the Princess Cruises fleet, held its naming ceremony on November 5 and officially launched its winter Caribbean cruise season. This "supreme floating resort" stretching 330 meters—longer than the Eiffel Tower in Paris—achieved a 100% occupancy rate on its first voyage of the new season. What unique charm does she possess to attract so many travelers from far and wide?

Among the most talked-about features aboard is the pioneering“SeaWalk”—a cantilevered glass walkway that extends 9 meters beyond the ship’s edge, giving passengers the sensation of strolling over the open sea. Another highlight is the atrium stage, which hosts non-stop performances throughout the day and evening, with various artists showcasing their talents. Guests can simply sip a drink, sit back and enjoy the show, or hit the dance floor and sway to the rhythm, easily passing half a day aboard.

To celebrate the launch of the Royal Princess and her 50th anniversary, Princess Cruises has unveiled a newly choreographed musical, “Fiera.” With Broadway-caliber performances and elaborate set designs, it fully immerses audiences in its world—but note that recording is not allowed due to copyright restrictions.
