101 New Year's Eve Fireworks: 11 Best Viewing Spots!

The Taipei 101 fireworks are about to light up the sky. Today, Taipei 101 announced the 11 best spots to watch the countdown fireworks. It also plans to release a digital fireworks map on its official website on the 23rd, allowing the public to enjoy the spectacular display from the best vantage points.

The 11 best locations for viewing the Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve fireworks show, announced on the 18th, are:
Elephant Mountain
Rainbow Riverside Park
Neihu Jianan Mountain
44 South Village
National Father Memorial Hall
Intersection of Keelung Road and Xinyi Road
Open space on Xin’an Street near Taipei Medical University
Taipei’s Most Exciting New Year’s Eve Countdown Party
Cathay Financial Holding
Songshou Park
Taipei 101 89th Floor Observation Deck
Taipei 101 reminds the public that this year, due tothe strong winter northeastern monsoon, the southwestern area of Taipei 101 may be obscured by smoke,and the National Father Memorial Hall, located on the western side, may also experience some visual interference.

This year, Taipei 101 has launched the “WOW 101 APP” for the fireworks show. The public can download the app in advance to listen to the fireworks soundtrack, available in both movie and symphony versions. On December 31st, users can sync the app with the live music during the fireworks display.
