Cold weather but not cold vibes? Qinghai and Henan stage fiery bikini skiing shows

As the cold winter arrives and heavy snow begins to fall in high-latitude regions, ski resorts across China have recently rolled out new strategies to attract visitors. In Qinghai and Henan, sizzling female models donned bikinis to give the public an eye-catching treat and add some spice to China’s winter tourism scene.

According to China News Service, the Qinghai Oslo Ski Slope, invested in by a Shanghai-based company, grandly launched its first Ice and Snow Tourism Season on December 5 in Chengnan New District, Xining, Qinghai. The organizers specially invited beautiful models from Russia, Ukraine, and mainland China to put on a unique bikini skiing show amid the snowy landscape. Qinghai, located on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, has winter conditions for about half the year, making it highly suitable for winter tourism development and attracting investment interest from many overseas enterprises.

In addition, according to reports from China Innovation Network, on December 20, a ski resort on Wangwu Mountain in Henan also staged a bikini skiing show. The difference here was that, in addition to inviting multiple bikini-clad female models to delight the male audience, the event also featured male instructors skiing topless—ensuring female attendees were not left out—drawing crowds of onlookers and photographers.
