Renowned Japanese comedians Takeshi Tamura (Takeru) and Ryō Tamura (Ryo) were invited by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications on the 22nd and 23rd to come to Taiwan and film a special episode for Kansai TV in Japan, jointly promoting Taiwan!

Takeru and Ryo, hosts of the popular show "Ura-Men," have accumulated a large number of loyal fans with their humorous and entertaining hosting style. This time, the show features many Taiwanese delicacies, including Xiao Long Bao, a “staple dish” from Japan to Taiwan, scallion pancakes described as “Taiwanese pizza,” sweet-style cold soy milk, and savory hot soy milk often referred to as a hot soup.

The Tourism Bureau invited the TV crew to Taiwan to produce this Japanese special program, aiming to expand Taiwan’s overall promotion during the New Year holiday viewership period and boost the Japanese tourist wave to Taiwan in 2015. The Kansai TV New Year’s special program is scheduled to air on December 29th at 10:50 AM.
