Commuters in Taipei have a new travel companion: the orange-and-yellow "Oh Bear Painted Train" now running on the Ban-Nan Line

The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has given Taipei commuters a Christmas surprise today (the 25th)! Taiwan’s tourism ambassador "Oh Bear of Taiwan" is now riding the Taipei Metro Ban-Nan Line as a limited-time painted train, keeping commuters company from now until January 21 next year.

Oh Bear the team leader has been very busy this year, traveling all over to promote the beauty of Taiwan. To celebrate Oh Bear’s first birthday, the Tourism Bureau has specially launched the orange-and-yellow-themed "Oh Bear Painted Train" on the Taipei Metro Ban-Nan Line starting today. Whether wearing sunglasses or flashing a shy smile, these adorable poses will make Oh Bear the cutest travel buddy for commuters.

The limited-time "Oh Bear Painted Train" will run intermittently on the Ban-Nan Line starting today and continue until 11:59 p.m. on January 21, 2015. Additionally, anyone who takes and uploads a photo of the Oh Bear train to the official fan page and leaves a designated message will have a chance to win exclusive Oh Bear small gifts.
