Evergreen Group officially announced today that the “Evergreen Laurel Shanghai Hotel” will commence trial operations on January 1 next year. This hotel also marks Evergreen’s first lodging presence in mainland China. It is simultaneously the seventh self-operated hotel under the Evergreen International Hotels chain, following Taipei, Taichung, Keelung, Bangkok, Penang, and Paris.

The Evergreen Laurel Hotel Shanghai has a total of 12 floors, featuring 273 guest rooms, a lobby bar, specialty restaurants, and a banquet hall that can accommodate 50 tables. The hotel is located in the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park area of Pudong, adjacent to a shopping and entertainment district, with the No. 2 Metro Jinke Station right in front, providing direct access to Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport—making transportation extremely convenient.

To celebrate the trial operation, the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Shanghai is launching a special room promotion from January 1 to February 28, 2015. Standard rooms are available for RMB 599 per night, and diners who spend RMB 100 or more will receive a RMB 30 cash voucher.
