1. BACX BOX
From the very start, they maintain strict quality control over the dough-making process. The dough is carefully adjusted according to the day’s weather and humidity to achieve the perfect texture. After being skillfully rolled out by the chefs, the resulting pancakes are delightfully chewy, adding a satisfying bite whether used for scallion pancakes or egg pancakes. Their baked scallion pancakes are neither greasy nor oily—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with generously filled stuffing that leaves a lingering aroma. The handmade egg pancakes are completely oil-free, staying fluffy and not soggy even when left for a while. The fillings and the crust meld perfectly in your mouth, offering a hearty portion. For those who love spice, their specially prepared dried-fish-and-chili mix delivers a layered flavor that ends in a non-irritating kick—absolutely delicious!

6. Bus Egg Crepe Shop
The famously well-known BUS Egg Crepe is located right across from NeiHu Dana Girls’ High School. Every day, you’ll see a long queue of people waiting for breakfast, and on weekends, the wait can be around 20–30 minutes. In late August 2016, it temporarily closed due to staff shortages and remained shut for quite a while before reopening in March 2017. However, due to staffing issues, the shop switched entirely to takeout service afterward, and its official Facebook page announced adjustments to the menu.
Almost everyone who visits BUS Egg Crepe orders the cheese egg crepe. The owner doesn’t skimp on the cheese — the portions are super rich, and every bite is extremely satisfying. But because the portions are so generous, make sure to eat it while it’s hot to avoid the cheese hardening as it cools.
