Easing Holiday Traffic Congestion: New Taipei City Adds Flexible Bus Services to Major Tourist Attractions

2015 has officially arrived！ To welcome the first long holiday of the year, the New Taipei City Government’s Department of Transportation announced that during the four-day New Year's holiday period, additional bus services will be added flexibly on routes passing through areas such as Sanxia, Ruifang, Tamsui, and Wulai. The public is encouraged to use public transportation to avoid traffic congestion.

1. Ruifang Jingu Area: Transfer to bus routes 787, 788, 808, 825, 827, 856, and 886 at Ruifang Station of the Taiwan Railways Administration.
2. Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf: Transfer to bus routes 836, 857, and Red 26 at Tamsui Station of the Taipei Metro.
3. Pingxi Area: Transfer to the Pingxi Line at Ruifang Station of the Taiwan Railways Administration or take the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Route 795.
4. Wulai Hot Spring Scenic Area: Transfer to bus route 849 at Xindian Station or Taipei Main Station of the Taipei Metro.
5. Shenkeng Old Street: Transfer to bus routes 795, 819, 666, or 660 at Muzha Station of the Taipei Metro.
6. North Coast Scenic Area: Transfer to bus routes 860, 861, 862, and 863 at Tamsui Station of the Taipei Metro.

7. Sanxia Old Street: Take bus routes 702, 778, 779, 802, 807, 885, 908, 910, 916, or 940.
