Artists bring you tons of Doraemon vibes—Tokyo’s ultra-healing 2017 Doraemon Exhibition!

Doraemon helps make all your wishes come true! The robotic cat from the 22nd century, "Doraemon," is an iconic cartoon star who has accompanied the growth of many children and adults since his debut in the 1970s. If you’re a Doraemon fan, you can’t miss the"THE Doraemon Exhibition TOKYO 2017"currently on display at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan. Various creations by Japanese artists will take you into the fantastical world of Doraemon and revive those childhood joys!

"THE Doraemon Exhibition TOKYO 2017" can be seen as a sequel to the 2002 Doraemon Exhibition. Doraemon has captured the hearts of people of all ages and is a symbol of Japanese anime culture. Everyone has their own “personal” Doraemon, and this exhibition has also invited many contemporary artists to use their imagination and showcase their unique interpretations of Doraemon!

What’s special is,the works exhibited this time are not just the familiar Doraemon we all know. The exhibition also invited 28 contemporary artists, including Takashi Murakami and Mika Ninagawa, to participate. These artists will use their expertise, unique creative methods, and elements of modern art to present their own imagined versions of Doraemon! The exhibition is divided into three sessions, with different artists featured in each session.

Near the exhibition, there’s also a"THE SUN" caféwhere you can enjoy a variety of Doraemon-themed foods such as the Bamboo-Copter Burger, Anywhere Door Sundae, Time Machine Fruit Tart, and Doraemon Bell Egg Fried Rice. They also offer a “limited-time menu” with exquisitely and adorably plated dishes. Doraemon fans must visit this place to create unforgettable, wonderful memories with Doraemon.
