The snow viewing season at Hehuan Mountain has arrived, attracting large crowds of tourists during the New Year holiday. To ensure public safety, Nantou County Government has set up a medical station at Kunyang Parking Lot from now until March 1, providing frontline emergency medical services for visitors.

A popular tourist destination for locals, Hehuan Mountain not only offers stunning natural mountain and forest landscapes, but also rare snowscapes that attract many visitors to hike and admire the snow in winter. In consideration of visitor safety and the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday in February, Nantou County Government Health Bureau will set up a medical station at Kunyang Parking Lot from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on national holidays, starting now until March 1, to provide frontline medical support.

The Health Bureau also reminds the public that if experiencing altitude sickness (main symptoms include headache, vomiting, loss of appetite, general fatigue, etc.), do not take medication arbitrarily, immediately descend to lower altitudes, and seek medical assistance without delay.
