24-hour Korean BBQ opens, drawing long queues; January reservations fully booked

The American-style Korean BBQ HONEY PIG emphasizes authentic flavors and 24-hour service. Its official opening on January 8 immediately attracted crowds eager to try it out. Not only are all January reservations fully booked, but walk-in customers also face a wait of over an hour. Faced with the huge turnout, founder Micky was constantly on the move—grilling meat for guests, refilling sauces, and more. His trendy grandma-style afro hairstyle also became a hit, with many customers eager to take photos with him.

To offer Taiwanese customers the most authentic Korean BBQ experience, HONEY PIG’s sauces, seasonings, and kimchi are all imported directly from Korea. The brand even brought over an 80-year-old grandmother who originally prepared side dishes for HONEY PIG in the U.S., hoping that Taiwanese diners can enjoy the most genuine Korean flavors. HONEY PIG immediately drew large crowds eager to be among the first to experience it after its official opening on January 8. Even during off-peak afternoon hours, diners still have to wait over an hour for a table. Regarding phone reservations, PR representative Miki stated that currently, only select time slots in January are available for booking—non-holidays at 12 PM, 6 PM, 8 PM, and 10 PM, and holidays at 11:30 AM, 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 9:30 PM, 11:30 PM, and 11 PM. Due to high demand, all reservations for the end of January are already full. Those wishing to dine may want to choose less popular time slots to avoid long waits.
