Many people assume that Chinese restaurants are best enjoyed with a group to get the full experience, but Wok Wo Feng Ge — the only Chinese restaurant under the Godfather Steakhouse brand — is breaking that notion by introducing a fall-exclusive tasting menu duo set. Diners can choose 12 out of 30 dishes to share, with the total cost for two being NT$1,960, plus an additional NT$60 for water and a 10% service charge.

Wok Wo Feng Ge is helmed by Chef Deng Xinzong, the elder brother of Chef Deng Youkui of Godfather Steakhouse. This tasting menu duo set is divided into six categories, featuring a total of 30 dishes. Customers can select 12 dishes from the following: appetizers/cold dishes (choose 2 out of 7), vegetables (choose 2 out of 5), main courses (choose 3 out of 9), grains (choose 2 out of 3), soups (choose 1 out of 3), and desserts (choose 2 out of 3).
Main courses include dishes such as “Garlic Cube Steak,” which uses the same high-quality beef as the Godfather Steakhouse; “Boston Lobster,” steamed and enhanced with a 1:5 ratio of shrimp oil to water for an aromatic and premium experience; “Lion’s Head Meatballs,” made with a unique meatball ratio and infused with flavor from a secret broth; and “Shrimp with Sweet Peas,” prepared using a hot pan and cold oil technique, with river prawns meticulously deveined and cleaned.

Aside from the duo set menu, Wok Wo Feng Ge offers many signature dishes. Among them, the pan-fried duck liver with crispy rice crust is a favorite among regulars. This dish was inspired by Chef Deng Xinzong during a research trip to Japan, where he creatively combined Western-preferred A-grade duck liver, sushi-grade scallops, and snow crab, topped with a rich broth and fried crispy rice crust — resulting in an aromatic, exclusive creation. Chef Deng also mentioned that other popular dishes include Superior Stock with Ham and Chinese Cabbage, Ham Congee, and Pickled Mustard Greens with Bean Curd Sheets.
