The 2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival will be held from February 27 to March 15 at the Wuri High-Speed Rail Station in Taichung City, Taichung Park, and Fengyuan Miaodong. The Tourism Bureau has specially planned six “Central, Changhua, and Nantou 123” one- to three-day tour packages on Taiwan sightseeing buses, with a minimum of two people per group. Prices range from NT$1,700 to NT$6,150 per person.

For both domestic and international independent travelers, the Taichung Tourism Bureau also offers seven “Central Taiwan Mini Tour” packages that do not include accommodation. Travelers can choose half-day to three-day tour packages based on their individual needs, starting at NT$2,015 per person for groups of four.

During the lantern festival period, the Hotel Association is also offering a minimum 45% discount on the second night of stay, along with “Lantern Viewing Shuttle Buses” to transport visitors to the festival site. Local bakeries and confectionery businesses are offering discounts on pastry souvenirs when purchased with transportation tickets.
