The 2018 Tokyo Michelin Guide has released its list of featured restaurants. Aside from the starred establishments, many ramen enthusiasts in Taiwan were also curious about whether any new ramen shops received stars this year, but the result is the same as last year — two shops.The recommended restaurants (value-for-money restaurants) total 24, with 6 new ramen shops making the list, but 9 others have been dropped from the recommendations.

The six newly ranked recommended restaurants are Banyuin, Ramen Nijuu-bun no Ichi, Tamamitsui, Yayasanoban 01, QQ Girl, and Homemade Ramen Baimei.This year, the ramen shops not included in the recommended list are Mugitoori, Ichiran, Marugame Seimen, Bramble Café, Soranoiro, and others.Edoya, Due Italian, Kadou, and Kagari.
