China Airlines' fourth 777-300ER delivered & to operate on New York route in February

China Airlines' fourth new 777-300ER aircraft was handed over on the evening of January 14, 2015, Seattle time, and returned to Taoyuan International Airport in the early morning of January 16. The new aircraft will be put into service on the weekly three-flight New York route starting in February. Since resuming non-stop flights last October, the New York route will now offer a full upgrade in comfort.

In addition to the New York route, the 777-300ER will also begin operating on the San Francisco route seven times a week from July, earlier than scheduled. This comes in addition to the Los Angeles route, which has had up to 14 weekly flights since December last year, following the deployment of the 777. China Airlines currently serves North American destinations including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York in the United States, as well as Honolulu and Vancouver in Canada, offering more than 28,000 seats per week.

China Airlines has codeshare partnerships with Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, Virgin America, and WestJet, among others, to build an extensive air network across the United States and Canada, providing passengers with up to 932 weekly flight options and access to more destinations.
