Experience Japan’s four major anime and video game franchises — Neon Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter — transformed into the most thrilling real-life encounters yet！ Universal Studios Japan has launched a brand-new entertainment theme, “Universal Cool Japan,” from now until May 10, available for a limited 108-day period. Travelers planning a visit to the park can look forward to an extraordinary sensory adventure unlike any other.

Since its debut in 1995, the Evangelion series has made its way to Universal Studios Japan with a newly produced original 4D story. The viewing experience is enhanced with storm effects, flashes of light, splashes of water, and seat vibrations that sync with the plot. “Attack on Titan” recreates the epic battle between the 15-meter-tall Eren and the 14-meter-tall female Titan. In the “Resident Evil Escape Game,” visitors will hold a “Player Pad” and navigate through a massive broadcasting studio, defending against zombie attacks in a terrifying atmosphere. “Monster Hunter THE REAL,” making its fourth appearance at Universal Studios Japan, features special lighting effects for the first time, bringing a life-sized, electrified Rathalos to life.

Following the success of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal Studios Japan has once again brought to life four immensely popular Japanese anime franchises — Neon Genesis Evangelion, Attack on Titan, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter — under the theme “Universal Cool Japan.” This latest offering is expected to spark another wave of tourism enthusiasm.
