Thinking of spending Chinese New Year in a hotel? Recently, many hotel operators in Taiwan have launched special Lunar New Year accommodation packages. Check into a luxurious 17-ping room at Mandarin Oriental Taipei, indulge in Michelin-quality cuisine; gather your girl squad and stay at W Taipei, sipping on an age-defying Martini; or head to the south and book a Deluxe Family Room at Tayih Landis Hotel Tainan at 30% off; or bring your “furry friend” to Eastone Mountain Forest Resort Hotel for a Pet Disney experience and a special pet reunion dinner.

Mandarin Oriental Taipei launches the “Prosperity in the Year of the Sheep” Lunar New Year accommodation package, offering three designs tailored to different vacation needs. These include staying in a 17-ping Deluxe Room with a “Happy Holiday” deal featuring a 50% discount on the second night; or opt for the “Luxury New Year Holiday” that includes a stay in a Deluxe Suite, Michelin-starred chef-prepared delicacies, a spa treatment, starting from NT$16,500 per night.

W Taipei has specially created the “GIRLS GETAWAY 好事成三” ladies-only package for a girls’ getaway. The package includes one night in a Twin Room, daily buffet breakfast for three at the kitchen table, one welcome snack, one voucher exchangeable for three “SPA MADE” ultra-hydrating facial masks from the Shibuya Beauty Clinic counter at Taipei Hankyu Department Store, three freshly squeezed detox vegetable juices at the kitchen table, and three “Age-Defying Martinis” at the Violet Lounge Bar, starting from NT$11,400 per night.

Check in at Tayih Landis Hotel Tainan on New Year’s Eve or the fourth day of the Lunar New Year to enjoy a 30% discount off the original price, starting from NT$6,650 + 10% per room; if checking in from the first to the third day of the Lunar New Year, enjoy a 20% discount off the original price, starting from NT$7,600 + 10% per room.

Dongsen Mountain Forest Resort Hotel in Yangmei, Taoyuan, has launched a Lunar New Year pet-friendly accommodation package, featuring complete pet supplies in the rooms, as well as a special pet reunion dinner and a pet playground. The double room accommodation is NT$9,680, the four-person room is NT$14,080, with an additional NT$1,200 per pet, and the pet reunion dinner set is NT$599 per serving.
