With February 14 approaching, hotels are launching various Valentine’s Day packages and exclusive items to seize the romantic business opportunity.

On February 14, Western Valentine’s Day, Cloud Lounge at The Regent Taipei will present the “Starry Lovers Sweet Set,” featuring dishes crafted by last year’s guest Michelin two-star chef Marco Sacco, paired with Italy’s century-old handmade egg pasta Caponi, as well as the highly acclaimed live lobster — Cloud Lounge’s signature dish. The special price is NT$2,380 per person.

From February 13 to 14, Pashatina International Culinary Group will offer exclusive Valentine’s sets across its six restaurants (including a French restaurant, French brasserie, Italian house, Hashi Japanese cuisine, Hashi sushi, and Pier-2 Warehouse Restaurant), featuring four cuisines — French, Italian, Japanese, and American — for a diverse Valentine’s dining experience. Pashatina Bakery has also introduced the “Floral Sweetheart” chocolate, with Valrhona white chocolate coating and fruity filling. Pre-orders placed before February 10 enjoy a 10% discount (original price NT$470 for a set of nine, three flavors).

Victoria Hotel has also rolled out special Valentine’s programs across its various dining outlets. la FESTA Italian Restaurant offers the “Starry Lovers Duo Set,” while N°168 Steakhouse presents the “Love Trilogy Seafood & Meat Duo Set” for NT$6,800. Additionally, the hotel has launched a cute line of Valentine’s macarons, including the “Cupid Macaron” set of four for NT$390, and a set of six paired with three TWG tea bags for NT$580 per box. Customized “His & Hers” services are also available, allowing customers to have the initials of their names included in the gift box.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel is offering a range of Valentine’s limited desserts from February 1 to 14, including Amour (NT$220 each), Passion Raspberry Chocolate (NT$720 per box of nine), Heart-to-Heart Macarons (NT$890 per box of eight), and Romance (NT$990 for 4 pieces / NT$1,990 for 7 pieces).

Although Dynasty Hotel doesn’t have any particularly unique Valentine’s offerings, it has created festive treats in line with Lunar New Year celebrations — the “Lucky Dice” cake and mahjong-shaped “Fortune & Prosperity” cake (each NT$388). When purchasing, customers can roll the dice or draw a mahjong tile, and the number rolled or drawn is multiplied by 10 for a discount, up to NT$120 off — equivalent to a 30% discount.
