Tainan Chengtian Bridge and Bicycle Bridge to Open to Traffic on the 5th – Even More Beautiful at Night

In line with the development plan for riverboat tours along the Anping Canal, the renovated Chengtian Bridge and an important bicycle bridge connecting the northern and southern banks of the Luermen Creek to boost tourism and leisure have both been completed. Both will officially open to traffic at 5 PM on February 5.

Tainan’s Anping District has become a popular tourist destination in Taiwan due to its numerous historical sites, specialty snacks, and rich natural ecology, attracting large crowds of visitors every weekend. In conjunction with the city government’s full push for the “Anping Port Harbor Cruise and Canal Boat Tour Development and Operation Plan,” the Chengtian Bridge was specially renovated to accommodate boat traffic. Additionally, the Public Works Bureau constructed a bicycle bridge over Luermen Creek in line with Tainan’s overall bicycle path network plan, incorporating local needs and characteristics. It is scheduled to officially open to traffic at 5:00 PM on 2/5.

The new Chengtian Bridge features LED lighting design, adding even more romantic charm to Anping at night—becoming even more beautiful as the night deepens. The public is welcome to come witness it together.
