Do you have to spend a lot to eat wagyu? Located next to Exit 2 of Shuanglian MRT Station, Da Xiong Wagyu is an old building renovated into a 1930s Shanghai-style gastropub. It offers lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and late-night meals, each with a different theme, but what remains constant is the affordable wagyu dishes available.

Such a uniquely styled bar and eatery, standing out among surrounding skyscrapers, is the first project by Yunpu Management Consulting Company in recent years to enter the leisure food and beverage field. Its goal is to create a new type of food business model—a themed event and party hybrid restaurant that emphasizes a fun and delicious atmosphere.

Through big data analysis, it was found that the group hosting birthday parties is increasingly made up of young professionals and college students. Therefore, Daxiong and Niu has developed a concept centered on offering party spaces that can be booked exclusively. For just 18,000 yuan (starting price), a group of up to 30 people can host a private birthday party, wine tasting event, brand press conference, ingredient workshop, and more. Dishes and selected red wines are supplied by "Da Xiong He Niu," and the venue can accommodate up to 80 people.

Aside from private party bookings, Da Xiong Wagyu also offers affordable handmade wagyu burgers to go for just 150 Taiwan dollars. In the afternoon, you can enjoy an afternoon tea set for just 100 dollars, and in the evening, you can even have a premium wagyu steak meal at a discounted rate in a private room. Plus, its proximity to the MRT makes it a great choice for those looking to dine out or host banquets.

The old building has not undergone large-scale renovation. The red bricks alongside vintage wooden cabinets and checkered floors highlight the vintage Shanghai-style tavern vibe.

The small-sized burger has a cute name: The Four Musketeers. Priced at 300 for takeout and 360 for dine-in, it comes with fries and a drink. It comes in four flavors: salsa, pesto, mustard, and peanut butter — hence the name “Four Musketeers,” allowing you to easily enjoy four different flavors of wagyu beef burgers.
