To kick off the Lunar New Year with good fortune, travelers can hop on the Green 13 to explore along Provincial Highway 168 for a light and easy bus trip, symbolizing “prosperity all the way” in the new year.

During the Lunar New Year period, take the Green Main Line at Tainan Railway Station to Xinhua Transfer Station, then transfer tothe Green 13 Branch Line bus—there are four scenic viewpoints along the approximately 2-kilometer stretch from Ganglin to Erliau Viewing Pavilion.Alternatively, if you’re at the Tainan HSR Station, you can take the Green 16 Branch Line to Xinhua Transfer Station, then transfer to the Green 13 Branch Line, passing attractions like the Hutoupi Scenic Area, Xinhua National Botanical Garden, Dakeng Farm, and the Ganglin Elementary School Water Pipe House.

With an electronic ticket card, you can enjoy a basic fare of NT$26 for the first 8 km on trunk and branch buses, and an additional NT$9 discount when transferring within 2 hours.
