Explore Bitan Lake Together – Enjoy a Romantic Concert and Light Show on Valentine’s Day

As Valentine’s Day approaches with its pink-hued atmosphere, to celebrate this romantic holiday, the New Taipei City Government will host a “Valentine’s Concert” in the evening at Bitan East Coast Square on Valentine’s Day. Meanwhile,the light show on Bitan Suspension Bridge will run from February 14 to March 15, with hourly shows at 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM every night featuring the “Blossoming Splendor – A Riot of Colors” Spring Festival light display, allowing the public to enjoy a romantic Valentine’s Day while also soaking in the festive ambiance of the Lunar New Year.

The concert to be held on the evening of the 14th at Bitan East Coast Square will feature a performance led by renowned musician Teacher Ye Shuhhan and the “Taiwan Normal University Wind Orchestra.” Meanwhile, the Spring Festival light show on Bitan Bridge, “Blossoming Splendor – A Riot of Colors,” uses red and purple as base colors, paired with the sound of firecrackers and a Spring Festival medley, heralding the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Additionally, Bitan’s shopping street has reopened after renovation and has launched related activities, including free distribution of Spring Festival couplets, free paper-cutting experiences, photo opportunities with lucky draws, and interactive experiences at the “ShenYouJi Carnival,” accompanying the public through a romantic and joyous Valentine’s holiday.

Bitan Valentine’s Series Events
1. Free Master Calligraphy Spring Couplets: Register to collect between 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on February 14 at the Image of Bitan area in Shuiwan Shopping Street. Limited to 50 people.
2. Free Paper-Cutting Experience: Register for a hands-on session between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on February 14–15 at the Image of Bitan area in Shuiwan Shopping Street. Limited to 100 people total over the two days.
3. Photo Op & Lucky Draw: From 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM on February 14–15, visitors to the Shopping Street’s Visitor Service Center can take photos with promotional boards, upload them to Facebook, and enter to win attractive gifts.
4. ShenYouJi Carnival Interactive Experience: Between 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on February 14–15, performers from the “ShenYouJi Carnival” will be found under the suspension bridge, interacting with the public through street performances and giving out opening balloons.
