Here's everything you need to know about the exterior and how to get to Kaohsiung’s “Charlie Brown Café”!

Taiwan’s first “Charlie Brown Café” has officially set up shop in Kaohsiung and is scheduled to open to the public in mid-March this year, so fans of Snoopy in Taiwan no longer have to travel abroad to visit. Although the store is still under renovation and not yet open for a sneak peek inside, Peanuts comic characters can be spotted all over the building’s exterior. Our reporter visited the site and captured photos to give fans a first look.

The “Charlie Brown Café” (Charlie Brown Café) is a themed café featuring characters from the beloved Peanuts comics. Since opening its first location in Hong Kong in 2005, it has expanded with flagship stores in places such as Singapore and South Korea. Each store has its own unique features, and Taiwan’s flagship will also offer distinctive views and menu designs.

Kaohsiung’s “Charlie Brown Café” is a two-story building with a simple design. Its dark brown brick façade paired with a clean white exterior makes the bright yellow school bus parked outside really pop. Waiting outside are Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, and others, with Woodstock walking back and forth by the bus window—a sure hit as a photo spot for fans.

If you want to see Taiwan’s first “Charlie Brown Café” with your own eyes, here are three easy steps to get there:

Step 1:(Follow the red arrow)Take the Kaohsiung MRT Red Line to “Kaohsiung Arena Station,” exit at Exit 5, and walk straight ahead where you’ll see the Hanshin Kaohsiung Arena Department Store.

Step 2:After passing the Hanshin Kaohsiung Arena Department Store, you’ll come to a major intersection. Cross the street and keep walking straight.

Step 3:Walk past the Hutong Yakitori restaurant and Ming Yuan Drink Shop, and you’ll see the “Charlie Brown Café” right in front of you.

Transportation:Take the MRT to “Kaohsiung Arena Station” and walk about 10 minutes to reach the café
