Holiday crowds are heavy! New measures at Nantou’s Sky Bridge: numbered tickets will be issued for orderly access.

During the holiday season, Nantou’s Monkey Well Sky Bridge saw massive crowds. To effectively manage the number of visitors and maintain a comfortable visiting experience, on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year (2/23), the bridge urgently implemented one-way traffic. Visitors were only allowed to enter the bridge from the park side, with access from the bridge’s end prohibited, in order to regulate the number of people on the bridge and their movement flow. Nantou’s Monkey Well Sky Bridge has officially introduced a compensation measure: visitors who show their purchase receipt from the fifth day of the Lunar New Year can enjoy one free entry to the park during the year 2015.

The Sky Bridge has seen large crowds during the holiday season, with lines for the bridge extending all the way to the park’s observation deck. In response to the upcoming 228 holiday crowds and future holidays spanning three or more days, a numbered ticket system for bridge access will be implemented, and two-way passage will be allowed. This aims to prevent visitors from waiting too long under the hot sun. When queues form among those accessing the bridge, numbered tickets will be immediately distributed at the park entrance. Visitors will then be directed to board the bridge in the order indicated by the broadcast, and they will also be free to relax, dine, or enjoy the leisurely holiday at various spots within the park while waiting.

In response to the inconvenience caused by the one-way traffic policy on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year, a special compensation plan has been introduced. Visitors who show their purchase receipt from February 23 (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year) in 2015 will be eligible for one free entry to the park. Additionally, the Sky Bridge will strictly control the number of people on the bridge during the holiday period.
