Come to AKB48 in Taiwan!

The Japan Tourism & Culture Expo “Japan Tourism & Culture Expo ~ Touch New Horizons, Rediscover Japan ~” will be held at Taipei Expo Park from April 17 to 20. During the event, members of AKB48 will come to Taiwan to perform live at the Taipei Expo, along with performances by a lolita girl group, popular Shikoku festival dances, and more, allowing the public to experience Japanese culture.

The “Japan Tourism & Culture Expo ~ Touch New Horizons, Rediscover Japan ~” will kick off at Taipei Expo on April 17. On the opening day, AKB48 will take the stage. The organizers said that they were moved by Taiwan’s enthusiastic support during the 311 disaster, which is why they specially invited AKB48 to perform in Taiwan. Other highlights include the well-known lolita girl group “STARMARIE,” a heavyweight sumo rock band, the popular Shikoku festival dance “YOSAKOI,” and even a performance featuring one hundred robots—definitely something to look forward to.

Regarding ticket prices, the organizers launched presale tickets for NT$150 on March 17. To attract more visitors, there will also be opportunities to win Japanese travel packages starting from NT$888 and airline ticket raffles at the event. Interested travelers can check it out on-site.
