The 2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival Grandly Concludes This Weekend with Countdown by 8 Performance Groups

The 11-day 2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival officially closed on the 15th, with eight domestic and international performance groups invited to deliver varied performances, marking a perfect finale to the event.

The performing groups on the closing day include: Taiwan’s top tap dance troupe—Dance Factory, combining the power of the mountains with Western rhythms; the Tiger Troupe and TS Fire Dance Troupe, showcasing electronic music acrobatics and fire dancing; and the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, blending traditional Eastern acrobatics with modern Western theatre... among others making a spectacular debut. The grand finale will be brought by the Bubble Family, who will close the 2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival in a beautiful and dreamlike sea of bubbles.

Those who haven’t yet attended this year’s Taiwan Lantern Festival are encouraged to come on the final day to admire the dazzling lanterns.
