Universal Studios Japan unveils "Minion Park" – sing the Banana Song together starting March 20

The yellow, blue-overalled Minions from the animated film *Despicable Me*, with their adorable and energetic antics, have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Now, you’ll have the chance to play with the Minions and belt out their iconic theme song – the Banana Song! This year, Universal Studios Japan has centered its new theme park around these tiny yellow characters, creating the all-new "Minion Minion Plaza," which officially opens on the 20th.

The newly built Minion Plaza is divided into four main zones: Minion Street Performance, Minion Playground, Minion Souvenir Shop, and Minion Happy Kitchen. However, Universal Studios has kept the details under wraps, with only the Minion Mart souvenir shop and some Minion-themed snacks revealed so far. The souvenir shop offers everything from hats to thermoses, sticky notes, dolls, and more. Even the staff are dressed as giant-sized Minions, and their cute outfits have prompted many netizens to ask, “Can I buy the uniform too?”

The snacks are, of course, also full of Minion charm. Custard-flavored Minion dumplings, banana cake, Minion buns, and drinks – their adorable designs make them almost too cute to eat.

The Minion-themed park "Minion Plaza" will make its grand debut on March 20, featuring a spectacular parade performance on the opening day. Come and sing the Banana Song with the Minions！
