The Snoopy Café hasn’t officially opened yet, but the doghouse outside has already been damaged by the public！Taiwan’s first “Snoopy Café,” located in Kaohsiung, only began its trial operation on the 18th. Even before opening, it was discovered that the curved adhesive tape above the doghouse had shifted out of place due to many curious visitors exploring the area. Zheng Yuming, the marketing director of Snoopy Café, expressed hope that the public would use the space with care, saying, “It’s extremely difficult to recreate the same level of detail as in the comics, and it’s very hard to restore.”

Taiwan’s first “Snoopy Café” began its trial operation on the 18th and will officially open on April 1st. Before it even officially opened, the tape above the Snoopy doghouse at the entrance had come loose. Zheng Yuming said that this isn’t ordinary adhesive tape—it was carefully compared with the U.S. headquarters to ensure that the curvature and traces matched the comics exactly, making it very difficult to recreate. Every inch of the detail was matched and simulated. Zheng Yuming said that while they want to convey a happy atmosphere to customers, they also hope the public will cherish the space and not damage it easily.
