The dreamy purple hues of mid-spring aren’t just about lavender – wisteria is also making a stunning appearance Up！ At Wuling Forest Recreation Area, wisteria flowers have gradually come into full bloom since mid-March. The cascading purple blossoms sway gently in the breeze, casting an enchanting romantic charm over the entire park.

Wisteria has long been one of the most well-known climbing flowering plants, often used as inspiration for poetry and paintings. It usually forms buds around March and blooms in April, but its flowering period is brief – about a month. The wisterias at Wuling National Forest Recreation Area are now ready to dazzle, making it the perfect time to visit. In addition to flower viewing, the park also offers walking trails for fitness and a refreshing experience with phytoncides.
