After resting at SPA Land, it’s of course time for dinner. I’d recommend not eating too much before going to the sauna—eating after your spa session is more comfortable (though overindulging isn’t great either, but I felt “not full” was better, and besides, the others weren’t picky...).

It’s about a ten-minute walk from SPA Land, roughly 900 meters. Since you’re feeling light after the spa, it’s not too hard.

The man wrote in Chinese characters, which are easy to read. This whole building, resembling a food court, was newly built just in the past two years—it wasn’t on the Naver map two years ago.

I’ve marked the entrance with the latitude and longitude at the end of the text to make it easier for you to find, because we had a bit of trouble locating it ourselves.

As soon as you sit down, they’ll serve all the side dishes first~

All of the above can be refilled unlimitedly.

On one side is kimchi, and on the other is radish (or pickled vegetables). I absolutely love the pickled veg—it has spicy, salty, and sweet flavors, and pairs really well with the meat while cutting through the richness!

Here comes the main dish~ The meat wraps here specifically emphasize “garlic,” which is why there’s the character for garlic in the restaurant name!

But the owner is considerate—there’s one row out of three that doesn’t have minced garlic added. Personally, though, I prefer the ones with garlic—they’re more satisfying. The pork belly here is also delicious; you can tell it’s about one-third fat and two-thirds lean, not greasy at all, and the lean part is tender without being dry.

So much onion and garlic (hahaha).

Look at the marbling and fat layers in the meat—trust me, it’s really tasty!

Actually, this place is kind of funny—the rice is served last, but Taiwanese people usually want rice early, so our group leader kept asking for the plain rice to come out (lol).

Honestly, I think with such bold flavors, it’s really better with rice. Koreans usually pair it with alcohol, which is why they serve the rice last as a filler. We don’t drink, so we asked for the rice upfront. If you run into this situation, you can also ask the staff to bring the rice first!
I personally think this place is pretty good—we were all very satisfied with the meal that day. But I checked, and this spot doesn’t have any branches in Seoul yet (though there are other places selling garlic pork belly wraps). So if you’re in Busan, definitely give it a try!
