It’s only been a few months into 2015, and Universal Studios Japan has been rolling out new surprises non-stop. The “Universal Wonderland,” long hailed as the V-shaped recovery booster for the park, not only added new attractions and reopened in a revamped version this spring, but also introduced a brand-new “Minion Park” in the San Francisco area, inviting visitors to sing the Banana Song together with the Minions.

The brand-new “Universal Wonderland” area is designed around the concept of a neighborhood where world-famous cartoon characters such as Elmo, Snoopy, and Hello Kitty live, and it especially addsElmo’s GOGO SnowboardingandMoby’s Balloon Tripamong other attractions, bringing even more rich emotions and experiences to travelers. In addition, the park has also reintroduced street performances where you can interact with the characters,Surprise Party!,which even moms busy with childcare can’t help but dance and smile along to.

Another highlight of Universal Studios Japan is the brand-new themed entertainment area “Minion Park,” which grandly opened on March 20th in the San Francisco area. In addition to selling a variety of merchandise and Minion-shaped treats at Minion Mart and Happy Kitchen, the highlight not to be missed is the Minions’ street performance of the “Banana Song.” In the approximately 20-minute show, visitors can enjoy the Minions’ hilarious and playful acts using a variety of props.
