The "2015 Pingtung International Colorful Rice Art Festival" doesn’t officially start until the 28th, but the appearance of three-dimensional characters like Tigger and Usagi from LINE—popular cartoon stars—in the rice paddies has already caused a sensation even before the opening. To accommodate the large crowds, Pingtung County Government has specially arranged shuttle buses so visitors from outside the county can witness the adorable scene of Tigger, Sally, and James running through the rice fields.

Organizers said that the International Colorful Rice Art Festival will run from now until May 10, and to serve the public, they have speciallyset up a parking lot and shuttle buses at Nanzhou Sugar Refinery. It is recommended that visitors take the train to Nanzhou Railway Station or park their vehicles at Nanzhou Sugar Refinery and then transfer to the shuttle bus to reach the venue..

On weekdays, shuttle buses run every 30 minutes starting from 9 a.m., with the last bus back to Nanzhou Sugar Refinery from the Colorful Rice Fields venue departing at 5:15 p.m.; on holidays, buses run every 5–10 minutes starting from 8:30 a.m., with the last bus back to Nanzhou Sugar Refinery departing at 6:15 p.m. The fare for the shuttle bus is NT$10 per person per ride, and children under 6 years old or under 115 cm tall ride for free.

In addition, there is also a shuttle bus at the Dapeng Bay Management Office stop, running hourly on the hour. For those with mobility issues, Nanzhou Railway Station also offers accessible shuttle bus services.
